Fishing Rules

1. Strictly catch and release 2. Visitors may only fish using a rod and line 3. Only one rod may be used at a time by an angler 4. Rods and lines may not be left unattended 5. Fly, bait and artificial lures are allowed 6. Children may fish by hand net 7. Day visitors are requested to check in at Main camp first 8. A rod fee of R200pp R100 goes to a fund for community members to be employed on conservation work, such as cleaning the river banks, and also to support an agreement that netting is not allowed in the river. The other R100 is for the maintenance of infrastructure including roads and paths as well as routine management of the area.
